Bardolino is not only rich in natural beauties, with its vineyards, olive trees and breathtaking views. Cheeses, cold meats and salami, olive oil, wine, freshwater fish, fruit and truffles are just some of the treasures that characterize this area, which is also loved by mountain bikers and hikers who wander through the charming historic center of Romanesque origin and the pleasantly striking hilly inland. The small church of San Zeno is one of the oldest of the entire province of Verona . Also very beautiful is the small church of San Vito di Cortelline located on the Rocca and surrounded by fields and meadows. The remains of the Priorate of San Colombano are also located on the Rocca, as are the Tusini Salesian Institute and the Camaldolite monastery.
In town you can visit the imposing parish church of San Nicoḷ and San Severo , in neoclassical style. Near the harbour stand Palazzo Gelmetti, the current seat of City Hall, a leaning Tower, the Loggia Rambaldi and the Palazzo Guerrieri Rizzardi. Villa Carrara Bottagisio stands at the end of the promenade. In Cisano, the Parish of Santa Maria, in Romanesque style, is worth a visit. Moreover, concerts of instrumental music are held in churches and concerts of vocal music are held in public squares, and art exhibits, traditional festivities and sporting activities are all part of the rich calendar of events.
